Love Island star Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury confirm their breakup after five years

Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury have officially ended their relationship after five years together. The couple, who rose to fame as runners-up on season five of Love Island and share a daughter named Bambi, announced their breakup on August 14, 2024. Both took to Instagram Stories to share the news with their followers.

Hague, 25, expressed her sadness over the split in her statement: "Never in a million years did I think I’d ever have to write this. After five years of being together, I never imagined our story would end, especially not this way.” She continued, “I am extremely upset to announce that mine and Tommy’s relationship has come to an end. I will forever be grateful for the most important thing to me now and always, my beautiful daughter.”

She thanked her fans for their support throughout their relationship, stating, "You have all been a part of our journey, and I feel it’s right to share this with you all." Hague also requested privacy as she navigates this difficult time.

Tommy Fury, also 25, mirrored Hague’s sentiments in his own Instagram Story. “I am heartbroken to share that Molly and I have decided to end our relationship,” he wrote. Fury expressed gratitude for their daughter, saying, "The past five years have led to us having our beautiful baby girl, Bambi, and I will be forever thankful to Molly for making me a dad."

The couple met in 2019 on Love Island and got engaged in July 2023. Rumors of their breakup had circulated for some time, but the announcement confirms their decision to part ways.
