Jennifer Lopez prioritizes spending time with Ben Affleck’s kids amid divorce rumors

Jennifer Lopez continues to care profoundly for Ben Affleck's three children, despite their ongoing marital issues.

The singer is said to have prioritized spending time with Affleck's kids—Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12—following her extended trip to the Hamptons.

“Just because she’s not with Ben, doesn’t mean that she doesn’t care about his kids,” a source told People on Monday. “She always cared about them.”

Lopez, 55, reportedly “wants to spend quality time with them before school resumes” and Violet, whom she is especially close with, heads off to college.

The source mentioned that Lopez was genuinely committed to making their marriage work, as shown by her effort, “spent months looking for the perfect house for their blended family last year.”

Likewise, a source informed Page Six earlier this month that Lopez is deeply troubled by the potential effects their separation could have on their children.

“There are five kids involved in this,” the insider told Page Six. “She knew they were going to blend families. She has not fully accepted it is over.”

In June 2023, the couple bought a 38,000-square-foot mansion in Beverly Hills with the intention of having everyone live together. However, they put the property on the market for $68 million in July.

Since then, Lopez has been viewing various properties in the same area, while the 51-year-old actor recently purchased a $20 million equestrian estate in the upscale Pacific Palisades neighborhood of Los Angeles last month.
