CTP issues advisory for Murree tourists

The City Traffic Police Rawalpindi has issued a special traffic advisory for tourists visiting Murree in view of the monsoon rains. Safety measures are prioritised to prevent accidents and ensure smooth travel. The advisory comes after past incidents highlighting the need for stricter regulations in the hilly area.

The Chief Traffic Officer has instructed DSP Traffic Murree and traffic personnel to strictly adhere to SOPs, including mandatory driving licenses, fitness certificates for public service vehicles, and enforcement of provincial government SOPs for large vehicles. This will help prevent unpleasant incidents and guarantee a safe journey for tourists.

Additionally, tourists are advised to exercise caution while driving on Murree's slippery roads and dangerous turns.
