Alleged killer of youth arrested

The Quaidabad police arrested the suspect who allegedly shot dead a youth on personal dispute. The police also claim to have recovered weapon used in the crime from his possession.

According to the details, the Quaidabad police on an information conducted a raid at a place near Sherpao Bus Terminal and arrested M.Bilal alias Mayo son of Tareen and recovered a 30 bore pistol from his possession.

The police said, the arrested accused Bilal on August 10, killed 18-year-old Zakaria son of Qayyum in Quaidabad near Muhammadi Masjid, Swati neighbourhood, after altercation following a personal dispute. The pistol recovered from the arrested suspect has been sent for forensics. A case was registered against the accused and further investigation was underway.

Meanwhile, a 32-year-old factory worker, Abdul Razzaq, was shot dead by unknown assailants riding a motorcycle near Singer Chowrangi in Korangi Industrial Area. According to SHO Nasir Mahmood police found Rs1,300 and an old mobile phone on the victim's body. No evidence of robbery was reported.
