Gold Prices rise in local market following international trends

The price of gold in the local market gained by Rs1,200 per tola.

Gold prices in Pakistan saw an increase on Tuesday, following a rise in the international market.

The price of gold per tola in the local market reached Rs257,700, marking a gain of Rs1,200, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold rose by Rs1,029, bringing it to Rs220,936. On Monday, gold prices had remained steady at Rs256,500 per tola.

Internationally, the price of gold also saw an uptick, with the rate reaching $2,458 per ounce, including a $20 premium, after gaining $19 during the day, as reported by APGJSA.

Meanwhile, silver prices in the local market remained unchanged at Rs2,850 per tola.
