‘Shadow and Bone’ actor Archie Renaux confirms engagement to longtime girlfriend Annie O'Hara

Archie Renaux, 26, announced his engagement to Annie O'Hara during the Los Angeles premiere of 'Alien: Romulus' on August 12. Speaking exclusively to PEOPLE, Renaux shared that he proposed last year and that the couple is currently in the early stages of wedding planning. "We kind of need to get our ducks in a row," Renaux stated, noting that they have "a few things to plan and get ready for in this next year." The actor also mentioned that their 3-year-old daughter, Iris, will have a special role in the wedding, joking that she will "certainly have a job" on their big day.

The couple has maintained a low profile throughout their relationship, never publicly confirming when they started dating. However, O'Hara has been by Renaux's side at various events, including the premiere of his movie 'Catherine Called Birdy,' where Renaux shared photos on Instagram.

Renaux, who stars in the latest installment of the 'Alien' franchise, expressed his excitement about being part of such a legendary series. "These films mean so much to a generation of people," he said. "My dad's a big fan of Alien, and so growing up, I remember watching it with him when I was a little kid... it's a very, very special moment in my career."
