BTS' Suga has been embroiled in controversy recently due to a drinking and driving incident.

As more details emerge, anti-fans have seized the opportunity to criticize the artist. In a recent protest, flower wreaths were sent to HYBE headquarters, demanding Suga's removal from the group.

On August 13, 2024, anti-fans sent flower wreaths, typically used in Korean culture to express condolences, to HYBE as a symbol of their protest and disappointment with Suga's actions.

The wreaths bore messages like "Min Yoongi, leave the team" and "You were the one who let go of our hands," directly addressing Suga by his real name.

However, fans clarified to the South Korean news outlet Sports Kyunghyang that these wreaths were not sent by their fandom but by certain individuals.

Suga was caught by authorities driving an electric scooter under the influence, leading Yongsan Police Station to charge him with violating the Road Traffic Act. His license was revoked, and he was fined.

Suga admitted to his mistake, stating he was unaware of the law, and issued an apology to his fans, promising to act more responsibly in the future.

The incident has sparked significant online discussion among Korean netizens.

Suga enlisted in the South Korean military on September 22, 2023, as a public service worker and is expected to be discharged around 2025.

Prior to his enlistment, he released his debut solo album under the name Agust D on April 21, 2023. He also released a solo documentary, Suga: Road to D-Day, chronicling his journey leading up to the album's release.

Additionally, Suga embarked on his first solo tour, the Suga Agust D Tour, performing in several cities across the United States, as well as in Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, South Korea, and Japan.
