As usual, President Barack Obama has released his summer playlist, featuring a diverse mix of artists.

His selections range from viral newcomers like Tommy Richman and Paul Russell to iconic acts such as Bob Dylan and the Rolling Stones, reflecting his broad musical tastes that fans have come to expect annually.

Alongside his summer reading list, the playlist combines contemporary hits with timeless classics, spanning genres from neo-soul to classic rock.

Much like Vice President Kamala Harris, Obama’s playlist includes Charli XCX’s “365,” showcasing his embrace of current trends. It also features country tracks like Beyoncé’s “Texas Hold ‘Em” and Shaboozey’s “A Bar Song (Tipsy).”

The playlist also highlights a range of classics, including Blackstreet’s “No Diggity,” Digable Planets’ “Rebirth of Slick (Cool Like Dat),” the Supremes’ “Where Did Our Love Go,” and the Rolling Stones’ “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction.”

Adding to the mix are Afrobeats tracks such as Rema’s “Yayo,” Tems’ “Love Me Jeje,” and Tyla’s “Jump” featuring Gunna and Skillibeng, along with some unexpected choices like Bonny Light Horseman’s “Old Dutch.”

“With summer winding down, I wanted to share some songs that I’ve been listening to lately – and it wouldn’t be my playlist if it didn’t include an eclectic mix,” he shared on X (formerly Twitter).
