Elon Musk says he's 'Happy to host Kamala' after chaotic Trump interview on X
Following his highly anticipated interview with former US President Donald Trump, Elon Musk, the owner of X and CEO of Tesla, hinted at the possibility of hosting Vice President Kamala Harris on his platform.
Musk took to X to announce, "Happy to host Kamala on an X Spaces too."
This announcement came on the heels of an unscripted conversation with Trump, which faced significant technical issues. The interview, scheduled to start at a specific time, was delayed by over 40 minutes due to what Musk described as a cyber attack on X.
The disruptions prevented many viewers from accessing the livestream, causing a notable embarrassment for both Musk and Trump.
During the more than two-hour discussion, Trump did not hold back in his criticism of Harris.
He stated, "We don't have a president right now—and Kamala is even worse. She's a San Francisco liberal who destroyed that city, destroyed California, and will destroy our country if she's elected."
Trump also voiced concerns over Harris' handling of illegal immigration, accusing her of allowing a large number of undocumented immigrants into the country and alleging that foreign nations are sending criminals to the US.
Trump further criticized the Biden administration’s immigration policies, saying, "We have a defective government... Millions of people are coming in a month, and Kamala gets up and pretends she's going to do something. She had three and a half years and they have another five months, but they won’t do anything."
Musk’s suggestion of a potential interview with Harris has stirred political speculation, as many wonder whether the Vice President will accept the invitation and participate in a similar unscripted conversation on X.
