Bangladesh cricket team arrives in Pakistan for Test series

Visiting team will train at Lahore's Gaddafi Stadium for three days before traveling to Islamabad.

The Bangladesh cricket team has arrived at Lahore's Allama Iqbal International Airport for a two-Test series against Pakistan.

Upon arrival, stringent security measures were in place, and the team was escorted by police and other law enforcement agencies to their hotel.

According to the schedule, the team will rest today and begin preparations for the series on August 14. They will train at Lahore's Gaddafi Stadium for three days before traveling to Islamabad.

The first Test match of the series is set to take place on August 21 at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, with the second Test starting on August 30 in Karachi.

The Bangladesh squad, led by Najmul Hossain Shanto, includes Mahmud Hasan Joy, Zakir Hasan, Shadman Islam, Mominul Haque, Mushfiqur Rahim, Shakib Al Hasan, Litton Das, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Taijul Islam, Nayeem Hasan, Naeem Hasan, Shariful Islam, Hasan Mahmud, Taskin Ahmed, and Syed Khaled Ahmed.

Notably, all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan will later join the team from Canada.
