'Saturday Night Live' cast member Bowen Yang recently opened up about a less-than-pleasant experience with a past host on the show. During a game of “Truth or Kink” on 'Watch What Happens Live', Yang shared that a male host's behavior was so unprofessional that it made "multiple cast members cry" before the table read due to his dislike for the proposed ideas.
While Yang refrained from naming the host in question, speculation has arisen among fans given his tenure on the show since 2018. This isn't the first time Yang has addressed uncomfortable situations on 'SNL'. In January, his deliberate distance from Dave Chappelle during the goodbyes segment sparked conversation about Chappelle's past controversial remarks.
Other former 'SNL' cast members have also shared their experiences with difficult hosts and colleagues. Chevy Chase's numerous clashes with fellow cast members are well-known, and Pete Davidson once labeled Chase a "genuinely bad, racist person" after Chase criticized the show's recent seasons.
While 'SNL' is renowned for its humor and iconic sketches, Yang's revelations highlight the pressures and occasional conflicts that occur behind the scenes.
