Vice President Kamala Harris is on the cover of Time Magazine, with a story by Charlotte Alter that explores the shifting dynamics of the 2024 presidential race.

Alter’s article highlights “the swiftest vibe shift in modern political history,” describing how Democrats, once resigned to a “grim death march” towards certain defeat, now feel their “gloom replaced by a jolt of hope” with Harris leading the ticket.

However, the cover and story have sparked criticism, particularly from supporters of former President Donald Trump, who have labelled it as “propaganda.”

Investigative journalist Laura Loomer commented on X, formerly Twitter, “You’ll recall it was supposed to be the photo of President Trump with his fist in the air post assassination attempt…. And now it’s an Obama-era style graphic image of @KamalaHarris.”

Another user on X noted, “Time magazine attempting to ‘reintroduce’ someone who has been in a position of power for some four years...ok Time.”

Harris, after completing a battleground state tour, raised over $12 million at a major fundraiser in San Francisco attended by prominent Democrats. Meanwhile, Donald Trump is set to be interviewed by Elon Musk on X, a development that could add further twists to the 2024 election.
