Lisa of Blackpink is taking her career to new heights with a solo project, her own management company, and her acting debut in HBO's The White Lotus. In an exclusive interview with Elle, the K-pop star shared details about her latest ventures and her journey toward greater creative independence.

Lisa’s upcoming solo track "Rockstar," set to release under RCA Records and her newly founded management company, Lloud Co., marks her first major solo work in three years. Unlike her previous projects under YG Entertainment, this release reflects her newfound control over her artistic direction. "I think what I’ve learned from last time is me, myself, saying what I like and what I don’t like," Lisa told Elle, emphasizing the importance of asserting her creative preferences.

In addition to her music, Lisa will make her acting debut in the highly anticipated new season of The White Lotus, filmed in her home country of Thailand. "I think I cried," Lisa recalled in the interview, describing her reaction to landing the role. "I’m super excited and nervous, because it’s my first acting project."
