K-Pop Comeback: Former FIFTY FIFTY members Saena, Aran, and Sio ready for re-debut with IOK company
In a significant move for K-pop, former FIFTY FIFTY members Saena, Aran, and Sio are gearing up for a re-debut in a newly formed girl group under IOK Company, a subsidiary of MASSIVE E&C.
Their former band, which underwent a dramatic reshuffle last year, saw them part ways with their previous agency, ATTRAKT, amidst legal battles.
The transition marks a promising new chapter for the trio, who are looking to capitalize on their prior success.
"We plan to actively nurture their skills and passion so they can achieve even greater success on the global stage. We aim to write another success story together with the key figures behind the global hit 'Cupid,'" stated IOK Company.
This support aims to position them as major players on the international music scene.
Their previous group, FIFTY FIFTY, saw a split with members filing a lawsuit against ATTRAKT in mid-2023.
By late 2023, Saena, Sio, and Aran were free from their contracts, paving the way for their upcoming re-debut.
Meanwhile, ATTRAKT has moved forward, introducing new members to FIFTY FIFTY, including Chanelle Moon, Yewon, Hana, and the mysterious Athena, who are scheduled for their own spotlight with a mini-album release on September 20, 2024.
