Taylor Swift has claimed a significant victory over Kanye West, breaking his streak of 11 consecutive No. 1 albums.

Kanye's latest album, "Vultures 2," missed the top spot by a narrow margin, with Swift's "The Tortured Poets Department" taking the No. 1 position instead.

This development is likely to be a moment of satisfaction for Swift, who has had a longstanding feud with Kanye West.

The tension between the two artists dates back to 2009 when West interrupted Swift’s acceptance speech at the MTV Video Music Awards to declare that Beyoncé should have won the award.

The rivalry escalated further with the controversy surrounding Kanye's song "Famous," in which he claimed credit for Swift's fame with the line, "I made that bitch famous."

West and his then-wife Kim Kardashian secretly recorded a conversation with Swift and edited it to suggest she had approved the lyric. However, the unedited version of the conversation later surfaced, proving otherwise and vindicating Swift.

This latest chart victory adds another chapter to their ongoing saga, and for Swift, it may feel like a moment of poetic justice.
