'Scarface' star Ángel Salazar passes away at 68
Renowned actor Ángel Salazar, best known for his portrayal of Chi Chi, the loyal sidekick to Al Pacino's Tony Montana in the 1983 gangster classic "Scarface," has passed away at 68. His representative and close friend, Ann Wingsong, confirmed to TMZ that Salazar died peacefully in his sleep at a friend's residence in Brooklyn over the weekend.
Salazar's memorable performance in "Scarface," particularly his heroic act of saving Tony Montana's life and his own tragic demise, left a lasting impression on fans of the film.
