Elle King opens up about strained relationship with father Rob Schneider

Singer Elle King recently spoke out about her complicated relationship with her father, comedian Rob Schneider. In a Bunnie Xo’s Dumb Blonde podcast interview, King revealed that her father sent her to "fat camp" as a child, an experience she described as "toxic and silly."

She also expressed her disagreement with Schneider's views on social issues, stating that they often clash on topics like LGBTQ+ rights.   

King, who was primarily raised by her mother, has had a tumultuous relationship with Schneider throughout her life.

She recounted feeling neglected during her childhood and expressed her desire to distance herself from her father's negative reputation. Despite attempts to mend their relationship, King admits it remains strained.

She emphasizes the importance of focusing on her own reactions and actions, even when faced with challenging family dynamics.
