LAHORE:

Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal said on Sunday that Pakistan was on the path to progress but a few judges and generals imposed an "inexperienced" person on the country that affected the development process.

Talking to the media at the Expo Centre in Lahore, Iqbal acknowledged that recent court decisions had put "us in difficulties". He also said that "a lot has happened to Pakistan" because of the sit-ins and long marches. "Pakistan has a lot of scope in every sector. Pakistan is an agricultural country. Agriculture sector exports worth billions of dollars can increase our resources. If we want to move forward, we will have to increase its exports," he said.
