In a revelation that's surprised fans, Pakistani actor Saboor Aly recently shared that before marrying her now-husband Ali Ansari, she saw him more as a brother than a potential partner.

Saboor revealed in a resurfaced interview, appearing as a guest on The Talk Talk Show, that Ali was firmly in the brother zone, all thanks to her close friendship with his sister, Mariam Ansari. In fact, Saboor even played matchmaker, suggesting potential brides for Ali! Every time, Mariam would cheekily ask, "Why don't you marry him yourself?" to which Saboor would scoff, "But he's like a brother to me!"

The actor shared that while she and Ali had a solid friendship, full of heart-to-hearts and work chats, it never crossed her mind that they'd eventually say "I do." Yet, life had other plans, turning their platonic bond into a beautiful marriage.

Emerging as the epitome of couple goals in the showbiz industry, Saboor and Ali have captured the hearts of many. Having tied the knot in 2022, their wedding was a star-studded event, setting the stage for a journey filled with love and joy.

The lovebirds commemorated their second wedding anniversary in January, expressing appreciation for each other. To celebrate this milestone, Saboor shared a tender video on her Instagram handle, showcasing the couple reveling in the bliss of their union.

Set against the iconic Hollywood sign, the video portrayed the dynamic duo enjoying a moment of sheer happiness. Saboor, adorned in cargo pants and a red sleeveless jacket, shared infectious laughter while Ali twirled her around in his arms, both effortlessly rocking a casual-yet-chic look.

In a heartwarming caption accompanying the video, Saboor expressed her love for Ali with sincerity: "'I love you' goes without saying but I promise to always say it. I may never find words beautiful enough to describe all that you mean to me, but I will spend the rest of my life searching for them. Two years down, forever to go. Happy Anniversary."
