Police claim killing three robbers in a week

Three robbers were killed and 34 others injured in 31 encounters in different neighbourhoods of the metropolitan city, a police spokesperson said while sharing a roundup of last week's anti-crime efforts.

According to the spokesperson, 44 illegal weapons and 22 bikes were also recovered from at least 50 suspects rounded up during the week. A total of 107kg grams of hashish and 1.157kg of ice, crystal and heroin were recovered.
