Pindi police roll out monsoon traffic plan

City Traffic Police (CTP) have implemented a special monsoon traffic plan to ensure traffic flow during heavy rains. Under the plan, special arrangements have been made on important highways.

A CTP's spokesperson said that the monitoring of the traffic situation across the city is ongoing from the control room. More than 450 traffic officers and officials of the city traffic police have been positioned on duty. The Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) appreciated the efforts of all the officers and officials for performing their best duties during the rains and ensuring the uninterrupted flow of traffic especially in the low-lying areas.

CTO Beenish Fatima said the traffic staff should immediately inform the relevant departments about water accumulated on the leading roads and low-lying areas.
