TikTok star Chris Olsen addresses leaked intimate photos, states he did not consent to their release
Content creator Chris Olsen has publicly addressed the circulation of intimate photos and videos of him that were recently leaked online. The 26-year-old took to social media this weekend to clarify that he did not consent to the release of these materials, which have been widely shared on platforms such as X (formerly Twitter). In a detailed statement posted on Instagram, Olsen explained the circumstances surrounding the photos, revealing that the situation stemmed from an encounter with a photographer when he was 19 years old.
Olsen, who had gained a following through fitness photos on Instagram, recounted that he was approached by photographers for collaborations. While most of these experiences were positive, Olsen described one particular incident where a photographer “crossed the line” of what he was comfortable with. "When we first shot together he immediately had me sign a release for the photos that we were going to take, which he said was standard and he needed me to sign in order for us to start," Olsen shared. Being inexperienced and just 19 at the time, he complied, not fully understanding the implications.

The content creator explained that although he attempted to show his discomfort, he felt unable to refuse the photographer's demands, leading to the creation of the unconsensual material. The photos were later posted on a paid platform, from which they were subsequently leaked. Olsen also acknowledged making other videos of his own volition during that time but expressed a desire for the circulation of these materials to cease.
Olsen concluded his statement by saying, “I am in the process of forgiving myself and I hope you can try to forgive me too,” while urging fans and followers to stop sharing the images.
