Tyrese Haliburton, the Indiana Pacers star, took to social media to celebrate his first Olympic gold medal after the U.S. men's basketball team secured their fifth consecutive gold at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Despite his minimal time on the court, Haliburton found a way to enjoy the moment, sharing a lighthearted tweet that quickly gained attention.

"When you ain’t do nun on the group project and still get an A," Haliburton tweeted, captioning a photo of himself proudly displaying his Olympic gold medal. The tweet humorously acknowledged his limited role in the team’s success.

Haliburton’s Olympic debut came amidst a star-studded roster featuring NBA legends like LeBron James, Steph Curry, and Kevin Durant.

With such a packed lineup, Haliburton saw limited action, including no minutes in the final game against France, where the U.S. clinched a 98-87 victory at Bercy Arena, or in the semifinal against Serbia.

Despite playing just 26 minutes across three of Team USA's six games, Haliburton remains optimistic about his future with the national team.

As the 2028 Los Angeles Games approach, he could see a more prominent role as the current veterans begin to step aside, potentially paving the way for younger talents like Haliburton to take the lead.
