Dolly Parton urges Billy Ray Cyrus to seek help amid family feud

Country music legend Dolly Parton is reportedly urging Billy Ray Cyrus to seek help amid growing concerns about his behavior towards his family. 

The 62-year-old singer has been at the center of a family dispute, following a leaked recording in which he harshly criticized both his estranged wife, Firerose, and his ex-wife, Tish Cyrus.

The tape, which surfaced last month, captured Cyrus using offensive language to describe Firerose, 35, calling her an “idiot” and a “selfish f---ing b----.” He also lashed out at Tish, 57, whom he divorced in 2022 after nearly three decades of marriage. 

The former couple shares five adult children: Brandi, 37, Trace, 35, Miley, 31, Braison, 30, and Noah, 24.

In the recording, Cyrus made a controversial statement regarding Brandi and Trace, whom he adopted, initially describing them as “from a previous marriage” before correcting himself. He then made a derogatory comment, saying, “Everyone knows the devil’s a skank.”

Leaked text messages with his manager further revealed Cyrus’ ongoing resentment towards Tish, referring to her as a “liar” and a “cheat,” and labeling her as “scum of the earth” and a “fraud.”

As the family rift deepens, insiders revealed that Miley Cyrus has distanced herself from her father, reportedly saying she "never wants to lay eyes on her dad again." The situation has left the entire family divided.

Dolly Parton, who has been close to Billy Ray for years and is Miley's godmother, is deeply concerned about the situation. Speaking to RadarOnline.com, an insider shared that Parton is heartbroken over the conflict and is urging Billy Ray to take responsibility for his actions. 

"It’s shocking and apparent to her and everyone else in Billy Ray’s world he needs to take some responsibility," the source said.

Parton is reportedly considering cutting ties with Cyrus if he does not seek help. The insider added, “Anger management seems the first step but not before a groveling apology to those he’s offended. 

Billy Ray has a lot of work to do if he’s to get any face time with Dolly again soon, if ever.”
