KARACHI:

. PTI Sindh President Haleem Adil Sheikh said that Karachi has been left at the mercy of criminals while police are busy in filing cases against his party leaders and workers. He claimed that the Sindh government is protecting the outlaws who are out to commit crimes without any fear.

He was talking to the media after attending a hearing at the Anti-Terrorism Special Court.

Haleem stated that he and other PTI leaders and members appear before courts everyday without fail like school children go to school. He alleged that false cases have been filed against them.

He mentioned that target killings have become a routine of everyday in Karachi. This year, more than 200 citizens lost their lives resisting robbers. "Recently, one of our workers, Anees Ahmed, was killed by robbers. Peace in the city has been destroyed while the criminals enjoy full protection of government, police and influential people."

Haleem further said that the constitution's supremacy should be established in the country and false cases against innocent people should withdrawn.
