Disney previews live-action 'Lilo & Stitch' at D23 Expo 2024

Disney has unveiled a sneak peek of the live-action "Lilo & Stitch" movie at D23, revealing Maia Kealoha as Lilo Pelekai and confirming a Summer 2025 theatrical release. The film will follow the heartwarming story of Lilo and her sister Nani, who adopt an extraterrestrial creature named Stitch, brought to life using CGI.

The original animated "Lilo & Stitch," released in 2002, has garnered a dedicated fanbase, leading to various spinoffs and a TV series. The live-action adaptation boasts a talented cast, with Zach Galifianakis as Dr. Jumba Jookiba, Billy Magnussen as Agent Pleakley, and Courtney B. Vance as a social worker.
