Travis Scott found himself in hot water on August 9 after an altercation at a luxury hotel in Paris led to his arrest.

The Houston rapper reportedly got into a fight with his bodyguard, resulting in his detention by local authorities.

According to People Magazine, Scott's representatives are actively working with Parisian officials to secure his release.

"We are in direct communication with the local Parisian authorities," they stated.

"To swiftly resolve this matter and will provide updates when appropriate."

However, Travis Scott's legal team isn't the only group trying to get him out of custody.

Streamer Kai Cenat, who was also in Paris for the Olympics, took matters into his own hands by appealing directly to the police.

Cenat approached a squad car, asking the officers to release Scott immediately.

"Please, just free Travis right now," he pleaded.

Despite his efforts, Cenat’s attempts were unsuccessful as he encountered language barriers and officers unfamiliar with the rapper.

Kai Cenat and Travis Scott share a close friendship, having collaborated on multiple streams in the past.

Cenat, a big fan of Scott's music, has been vocal about his support for the rapper, even expressing frustration when Scott failed to win any rap categories at the 2024 Grammy Awards.

The incident, which went viral back in February, resurfaced after Killer Mike, who won in several categories over Scott, seemingly dissed the Houston rapper on his latest album.
