Political worker attacked by seven intruders
The suspects were reported to have beaten the victim during sleeping hours
MUZAFFARGARH:
A political worker of the Pakistan People's Party (PPP) was subjected to torture by a group of seven people who broke into his house and injured him for an unidentified reason at midnight on Thursday.
The injured political worker Imran Lashkari was shifted to DHQ hospital in critical condition upon receiving a call at helpline 15.
Police said the unidentified accused jumped the wall of the home of Imran Lashari at Basti Chandiya around 1:30am. The suspects were reported to have beaten the victim during sleeping hours.
It led the family members to raise hue and cry purportedly to attract people's attention to the Mohallah toward the mishap carried out in the home.
