The United States currently holds the highest number of gold medals and overall medals compared to any other country.

With three days remaining in the competition, American athletes have earned a total of 30 gold medals and 103 medals overall.

However, China is closely competing with 29 gold medals and Australia, France, and Great Britain also remain in the top five countries.

In the women's 400m hurdles, the U.S. secured a 1-2 finish with Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone setting a new world record of 50.37 seconds, while Anna Cockrell earned the silver medal.

Grant Holloway won gold in the men's 110m hurdles with a time of 12.99 seconds, surpassing fellow American Daniel Roberts.

Tara Davis-Woodhall secured the gold in the women's long jump, with Jasmine Moore earning bronze behind Germany's Malaika Mihambo.
