Ali Fazal opens up about his "secret project" with Baz Luhrmann, Hugh Jackman and Blake Lively

Ali Fazal recently shared insights into his glamorous photoshoot alongside Hugh Jackman and Blake Lively, directed by renowned filmmaker Baz Luhrmann. The 'Mirzapur' actor took to Instagram to express his gratitude and excitement for the opportunity, revealing that it stemmed from a 'secret' project he was filming in Los Angeles.

Fazal described the experience as "crashing Baz Luhrmann's Hitchcockian Whodunnit Casino scene," dressed in a regal sherwani. He also praised Anna Wintour for her continued support and expressed his admiration for Blake Lively and Hugh Jackman.
 

The photoshoot, shot in a single take with Luhrmann directing as if it were a film scene, fulfilled Fazal's dream of working with the acclaimed filmmaker, even if it was just a taste of what it could be like.

While Fazal remained tight-lipped about the nature of the secret project, he did express his hope to collaborate with Lively again in the future.

Besides this exciting development, Fazal was last seen in the third season of the hit series 'Mirzapur.' His next venture is the fantasy drama series 'Rakht Brahmand,' where he will share the screen with Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Aditya Roy Kapur. The series is being produced by Raj and DK and helmed by director Rahi Anil Barve.
