Katie Price was taken into custody at the airport after returning to the UK from her trip to Turkey.

The former glamour model had an arrest warrant due to her failure to appear at a bankruptcy hearing last month. The TV star was supposed to testify about her finances before a specialist bankruptcy court in London. Katie was initially declared bankrupt in November 2019, and again for a second time in March of this year.

The 46-year-old mother had been warned that she could be arrested if she didn’t attend the most recent hearing. Despite the arrest warrant, Katie traveled to Turkey for additional cosmetic procedures, including a facelift. She was later spotted speaking with police officers in the back of a police van at Heathrow Airport.

A statement from the Metropolitan Police said, "A 46-year-old woman from Surrey was arrested at Heathrow Airport at 19:45 hrs on Thursday, 8 August for failing to appear at court. She has been remanded in custody at a west London police station to appear at the Royal Courts of Justice tomorrow, Friday, 9 August."

Her boyfriend, JJ Slater, was spotted arriving at Heathrow Airport on Thursday evening after his girlfriend was taken into police custody. The star was recently photographed relaxing by the pool at her hotel, with staples and visible blood on her face.

Despite her fresh wounds, she didn’t hesitate to join her son Harvey in the pool. However, she quickly had to face reality as she was later detained at a UK airport. Just hours before her arrest, she posted on social media, informing fans that she was "aware" an arrest was imminent.
