Marc Anthony's Dominican Republic home erupts in flames
Marc Anthony’s house in the Dominican Republic caught fire on Thursday, with local news cameras capturing the extensive blaze as it happened.
Big orange flames and thick clouds of dark smoke engulfed the 10,000-square-foot property, as shown in footage obtained by Latin American news outlet "El Gordo y La Flaca" on Thursday.

The fire reportedly originated on the left side of the home, which includes bungalows typically used by guests. However, the main house of the “El Oasis” estate was not damaged.

A separate video shared on Instagram on Thursday depicted firefighters working to extinguish the fire, and according to a reporter on site, they were eventually successful.
The cause of the large fire remains unknown. News footage revealed that the foundation was severely burned, with piles of debris scattered around the pool area.
Anthony’s representative confirmed to “El Gordo y La Flaca” that, fortunately, neither the music star, his wife Nadia Ferreira, nor their 1-year-old son Marco, were inside the Casa de Campo Resort villa when the fire occurred.
The publicist also noted that no staff members present on the property were harmed, and no injuries were reported.
Neither the 55-year-old salsa singer nor his 25-year-old wife have commented on the incident via social media.
In January 2023, Anthony and Ferreira were married in a ceremony held in Miami, where they primarily reside.
The “Vivir Mi Vida” singer and the former Miss Universe contestant welcomed their first child together, Marco, in June of that year.
Anthony also has six other children from previous relationships, including 16-year-old twins Max and Emme, whom he shares with his ex-wife Jennifer Lopez.
