Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly eager to reconcile with King Charles and the Royal Family, possibly due to the upcoming 2024 US elections.

The Duke of Sussex has been reaching out to his father, who is undergoing treatment for an undisclosed form of cancer, and has expressed his love for his family in public statements, indicating a desire to mend the rift.

An ex-employee told the Daily Mail's Richard Eden, "It seems quite clear that they are desperate to start healing the rift." Eden suggested that this urgency might be influenced by threats from Republican Presidential candidate Donald Trump and his family.

Recently, Eric Trump called Harry and Meghan "spoiled apples" and reiterated his father's claims that Harry could be deported if Republicans win in November.

Earlier this year, Donald Trump hinted that Harry could be deported if he lied about drug use on his American visa application, stating that the Duke would not receive special treatment due to his royal status.
