Florida man hides in bushes after throwing spaghetti sauce at mother
A Florida man was jailed after he threw spaghetti sauce at his mother during a weekend argument at their home, according to an arrest affidavit.
Anthony Fiacco, 41, was arrested by St. Petersburg Police on charges of battery and resisting an officer without violence.
The shocking incident occurred in St. Petersburg, Florida, on Sunday, just before 8 p.m. Officers were dispatched to a home on Wahoo Drive after a domestic dispute turned physical. Fiacco had thrown spaghetti sauce at his mother, with the sauce found in her hair, according to police.
Fiacco initially fled the scene but returned later and was discovered hiding in the back garden bushes.
An officer shouted, "Police, show me your hands," and Fiacco attempted to flee again but was apprehended and taken into custody, officials said.
He was booked into the Pinellas County jail and released the next day.
