Pop sensation Sabrina Carpenter is gearing up for the release of her highly anticipated album, Short n’ Sweet, scheduled for August 23, 2024.

The announcement, made on June 4, 2024, through an Instagram post, has fans eagerly awaiting the drop of this new project.

Carpenter, known for hits like "Please Please Please" and "Espresso," is set to hit the road with a supporting tour, aptly named the Short n’ Sweet Tour. Fans can also look forward to exclusive merchandise, including a sought-after vinyl edition of the album.

In a recent update, Carpenter previewed a new track titled "Slim Pickins" during an event at the Grammy Museum on August 2, 2024. This song features a distinctive country flair and has captivated listeners with its memorable lyrics.

Carpenter, alongside producer Jack Antonoff, performed the track and discussed their collaboration, noting that they recorded three songs in one day: "Please Please Please," "Slim Pickins," and "Lie to Girls."

Carpenter described Short n’ Sweet as a significant project in her career, calling it her “sophomore album,” despite having released five albums to date. She emphasized that this album represents a new phase in her creative journey, particularly highlighting her transition from Disney's Hollywood Records to Island Records.

According to Carpenter, Short n’ Sweet is influenced by ‘90s pop but diverges from the more immediate storytelling style of artists like Taylor Swift. She shared insights on her songwriting process, mentioning that she often writes about past experiences or future possibilities, reflecting a deep and personal approach to her music.
