On Wednesday, Sen. JD Vance, the Republican vice presidential candidate, sought to confront Vice President Kamala Harris during an unexpected encounter at a Wisconsin airport.

Vance, R-Ohio, made his way towards Air Force Two while Harris was in Eau Claire, Wisconsin for an event. He expressed his intent to "check out my future plane" and questioned Harris about her media interactions, stating, "why does she refuse to answer questions from the media?"

Both Vance and Harris were in Eau Claire for separate events. Harris, alongside her new running mate Gov. Tim Walz, hosted a rally that attracted hundreds of supporters. Meanwhile, Vance addressed a smaller crowd at Wollard International, an aviation equipment company, where he also responded to questions.

Although Vance approached Air Force Two, he did not get the chance to speak with Harris, as her motorcade departed before he arrived. Vance commented on Harris’s campaign speech, accusing her of delivering "another scripted speech" and noted, "I don't think the Vice President waved at me as she drove away, but I'm glad to have done it."

Both Vance and Harris shared their experiences on social media. Vance posted a photo on X, formerly Twitter, with a caption referencing the encounter as an upcoming "Entourage reboot." In response, Harris’s campaign shared a video of her interacting with young girls on the tarmac, including a clip of Abby Lee Miller’s voice from Dance Moms, indicating an irritating interruption.
