Nina Dobrev, the "Vampire Diaries" star, recently opened up about her recovery journey following a dirt bike accident in May. While attending the Shiseido Blue Project Beach Clean-Up, she shared with PEOPLE that she is healing faster than expected but acknowledges the road to full recovery is still long.

Dobrev suffered torn ligaments and a fractured bone, requiring a recovery period of 9 to 12 months. Her boyfriend, Olympic snowboarder Shaun White, has been a pillar of support throughout, particularly during their recent trip to the Paris Olympics.

Despite the challenges, Dobrev remains positive and is inspired by Lindsey Vonn's knee surgery recovery. She recently shared a lighthearted Instagram post celebrating her progress and the ability to walk without crutches.
