Pop star Kesha celebrated the 15th anniversary of her groundbreaking debut single "Tik Tok" by reminiscing on its impact and announcing her intention to re-record the song with a modified lyric.

In an Instagram post featuring photos from the single's photoshoot, Kesha expressed her pride in the enduring positive emotions the song evokes. She acknowledged the personal growth she has undergone since the song's release, emphasizing the importance of protecting the joy and playfulness it represents.

Kesha revealed that she has permanently changed the opening line of the song in live performances to reflect her stance against Diddy, following disturbing allegations made against him. She intends to officially re-record the song with this change once she has the legal rights to do so.

"Tik Tok," featured on Kesha's 2010 album "Animal," achieved remarkable success, spending nine weeks at Number One on the Billboard Hot 100 and setting a record for the highest digital downloads for a female artist in one week.

In her Instagram post, Kesha encouraged fans to find joy and connect with their inner child through the song. She expressed her gratitude for the magical journey her career has been and her excitement for the future.

Last month, Kesha marked a significant milestone by headlining a WeHo Pride show, her first performance since settling a decade-long lawsuit with Dr. Luke. She is now releasing music under her own label, Kesha Records.
