Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, and his mother confront Blake Lively’s onscreen love interest

During a press junket for "It Ends With Us," starring Blake Lively and Brandon Sklenar, Sklenar faced unexpected interruptions from Ryan Reynolds, his mother, and Hugh Jackman. Reynolds, who is Lively’s husband, humorously questioned Sklenar about his role and physical appearance. “This is cool. It’s not everyday the husband gets to interview his wife’s love interest,” Reynolds said. He also asked Sklenar about his physique and joked about recruiting him to be his new dad.

Hugh Jackman later joined the fun, questioning Sklenar with a mock-serious tone: “What the hell are you doing messing with my best buddy’s wife?”

Jackman, like Reynolds and his mother, also became enamoured with Sklenar during the interaction.

The promotional event highlighted the film’s release, which is set to compete with Reynolds' and Jackman’s film, "Deadpool & Wolverine."

 "It Ends With Us," an adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s novel, opens in theatres on August 9.
