Travis Scott found himself in a peculiar position during the ongoing Drake vs. Kendrick Lamar feud.

The Houston rapper didn't openly diss Drake, nor did he explicitly side with him.

Rumors of their strained relationship were fueled when Drake theatrically destroyed an inflatable Travis Scott head during a performance of their song "Meltdown."

However, recent events suggest the drama might not be as severe as fans believed.

On August 5, Travis Scott played a DJ set where he featured Drake's new single, "Sideways."

Notably, Gordo, the producer of the track, attended the set and partied alongside Scott.

A clip shared by Gordo on Instagram shows both artists dancing to Drake's vocals.

While some speculate that Scott played the song because of Gordo’s presence, others believe it could be an olive branch extended towards Drake.

Despite this potential peace offering, Scott's past actions indicate a complicated relationship with Drake.

At Rolling Loud in March, Scott joined Future and Metro Boomin onstage and insisted they perform their Drake diss track, "Like That."

Additionally, DJ Akademiks hinted in May that a prominent rapper, speculated to be Scott, might secretly oppose Drake.

As the year unfolds, fans are left to wonder if the "Sicko Mode" collaborators will publicly reconcile or if the underlying tensions will persist.

For now, the Gordo clip offers a glimmer of hope for mending fences between the two rap giants.
