Rihanna's appearance at the carnival was her first since 2019. After a hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic and two pregnancies, she chose to make a grand comeback.

Her appearance follows closely after she humorously mentioned that she had abandoned her efforts to achieve a six-pack this summer.
