Zendaya and Robert Pattinson are in initial discussions to lead "The Drama," a film directed and written by Kristoffer Borgli, the director of "Dream Scenario."

The specifics of the project are still under wraps, but rumors hint at a romance that takes an unexpected twist before the couple's wedding day.

This is another film collaboration between A24 and Square Peg, joining previous projects such as “Hereditary,” “Midsommar,” “Dream Scenario,” as well as the upcoming films “Death of a Unicorn” starring Paul Rudd and Jenna Ortega, and “Eddington” starring Joaquin Phoenix, Pedro Pascal, and Emma Stone.

It's been a significant year for Zendaya, who starred in the successful films “Dune: Part Two” and “Challengers.” Up next, she'll return to her Emmy and Golden Globe-winning role as Rue Bennett in the third season of HBO’s “Euphoria.”

Pattinson's upcoming project is Bong Joon-ho’s science fiction drama “Mickey 17,” set for release in January. He was last seen on the big screen as Bruce Wayne in 2022’s “The Batman” and provided the voice for the Grey Heron in the English dub of Hayao Miyazaki’s “The Boy and the Heron.”
