Ali Haider elected PAC-II Chairman

Ali Haider Gilani, the Parliamentary Leader of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) in the Punjab Assembly, was unanimously elected Chairman of the Public Accounts Committee-II on Monday.

The nomination was proposed by Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA) Malik Asad Ali Khokhar and seconded by MPA Shazia Abid. The committee members expressed confidence in Gilani's abilities and integrity.

The PPP leader thanked the committee members for their support and pledged to ensure transparency and accountability in all proceedings. He said he does not support vindictive actions and is dedicated to delivering justice in his new role.
