NCT’s Yuta announces solo debut and 'Hope' tour in Japan

The NCT star set to perform solo for the first time with showcases across Japan starting in October.

Yuta of the boy band NCT will make his official solo debut in Japan, his agency SM Entertainment announced Monday.

Yuta will kick off his "Hope" showcase tour in Fukuoka with performances on October 5 and 6.

The tour will continue with events in Aichi on October 13, Tokyo on October 17 and 18, and Osaka on October 26 and 27.

The "Hope" tour promises "various performances including his first solo album," though details of the album's release date and schedule were not disclosed.

Yuta debuted as a member of NCT 127, a subgroup under the NCT umbrella, in July 2016.

He expanded his career into acting in 2022 with the Japanese film "High & Low the Worst X."
