WWE SummerSlam 2024 took place at Cleveland Browns Stadium in Cleveland, Ohio, on August 3rd.

The date for SummerSlam 2025 has yet to be announced, but WWE has confirmed that SummerSlam 2026 will be a two-night event. Additionally, Indianapolis is slated to host a two-night SummerSlam in the future.

During the WWE SummerSlam Post-Show, Triple H addressed whether WWE SummerSlam 2024 would be the last single-night event.

When asked about the possibility of more two-night premium live events, he said, "Let’s take it one step at a time. We had a four-hour show with a seven-match card, and there was still more we could have added. Some people asked why certain things weren't included. If we added everything, the show would be eight hours long. We still need content for Raw and SmackDown."

Triple H elaborated on the potential shift, adding, "So, is this the last one-night SummerSlam? I think so. But we’ll see. I’m excited about the possibility. Regarding other PLEs, nothing is set in stone. Five years ago, who would have thought we’d have two-night WrestleManias and now two-night SummerSlams? We’ll see where it goes."

He emphasized WWE's global presence, saying, "We are truly a global company. There is no place WWE hasn’t been. We have a massive fanbase everywhere. We want to bring WWE to the world, not just be seen as a US-based company. We aim to be as big as possible globally. It’s always a moving target, but it makes for an exciting ride."
