Adele, 36, subtly addressed her engagement to Rich Paul during her Munich residency launch on Friday night.

The singer and the Klutch Sports Group founder, 42, reportedly got engaged last month after he proposed in her hometown, Tottenham, North London.

While performing her first night in Munich, Adele made a cryptic comment about her 'personal life.' She told the crowd, "What's going on in my personal life? Nothing because I've been getting ready for this."

Adele began her series of ten concerts in Munich with 75,000 fans in attendance at a specially-built stadium. Despite ongoing rumors of marriage, reports suggest the couple only recently got engaged. The Sun claims Rich proposed during a trip to Tottenham, with the location chosen to signify his commitment in Adele's hometown.

Last year, Adele and Rich were rumored to have married, reportedly confirming their union at Alan Carr's comedy show in Los Angeles.

Deuxmoi reported audience members heard Adele announce, "I did," when Alan Carr asked if anyone recently got married. Another attendee described the intimate setting and Adele's enthusiastic participation.

In a CBS interview with Gayle King, Rich Paul remained vague about the marriage rumors, saying, "You can say whatever you want," and expressing his preference for privacy regarding personal matters.

Adele also called Rich her husband during her Las Vegas concert in September, further fueling speculation.

Adele's relationship with Rich became public in July 2021 at an NBA game. She has been seen wearing a pear-shaped diamond ring for about a year, previously stating it was not an engagement ring but a piece of high-end jewelry she liked. Adele was previously married to Simon Konecki, with whom she shares an 11-year-old son, Angelo.

During her Munich show, severe weather forced Adele to address a wardrobe malfunction caused by a rain-soaked dress.

She humorously engaged with the audience, saying, "Sadly I have to take this gorgeous train off because it is wet and heavy," and "At least it's not thundering and lightening. Jesus!"

Adele's fans also expressed frustration with Ticketmaster, accusing the company of "unfair, non-transparent, and exploitative treatment of early ticket buyers." A petition on Change.org has been launched to address these concerns.

Adele performed "Chasing Pavements" for the first time in seven years during the concert, a song from her debut album "19" released in 2008.

Over ten dates, Adele will perform for a total of 740,000 fans at Munich Messe stadium.
