Charli XCX and Billie Eilish's latest collaboration, the remix of 'Guess,' has broken the record for the biggest debut for a female remix on Global Spotify.

The track garnered an impressive 6.857 million streams, surpassing the previous record set by Taylor Swift's remix of 'Karma' featuring Ice Spice, which had 5 million streams.

Charli XCX's rise in contemporary music continues with this latest achievement. Her collaboration with Billie Eilish, known for exploring themes of sexuality in her album 'Hit Me Hard and Soft,' has captured significant attention.

The 'Guess' remix not only showcases their musical synergy but also highlights their ability to connect with a broad audience.

The success of 'Guess' follows Charli XCX's strategy of releasing remixes to boost her album's performance. Her previous remix of 'Girl, So Confusing' featuring Lorde also became a major trend, indicating her adeptness at creating buzzworthy content.

The record-setting achievement of the 'Guess' remix has generated considerable online buzz. Fans of both artists celebrated the milestone, while discussions about the competitive dynamics in the music industry surfaced.

On August 3, just a day after news of the record broke, Taylor Swift, released her digital version of 'Tortured Poets Department' and a bonus track, 'My Boy Only Breaks His Favorite Toys.'

This move by Swift is speculated to be a response to not only the 'Guess' remix but also to Kanye West's upcoming collaboration album 'Vulture 2,' which features lyrics targeting Swift and Travis Kelce.
