PM, cabinet liable over forced disappearances

. Islamabad High Court (IHC) Justice Mian Gul Hasan Aurangzaib on Saturday said that the entire responsibility for forced disappearances lies on the prime minister and his cabinet.

He also ordered the Interior Secretary to utilize all resources and ensure the recovery of Ghulam Shabbir, brother of PTI leader Shahbaz Gill, and produce him before the court on August 6.

Justice Mian Gul Hasan Aurangzaib issued the written order of the hearing on a plea seeking the recovery of Ghulam Shabbir. As per the court's order, law enforcement agencies had not taken measures to ascertain the whereabouts of the missing citizen.
