Lollapalooza is in full swing, drawing a massive crowd to Grant Park for its second day. Thursday's festivities saw a packed audience for emerging artist Chappell Roan, the self-proclaimed "Midwest Princess" who has recently soared on the Billboard charts.

The excitement reached its peak with Megan Thee Stallion's closing performance on the main stage. The acclaimed rapper surprised the crowd by bringing out Chicago Sky's Angel Reese, further amplifying the energy and cementing the festival's status as a must-attend event.

As Lollapalooza continues through Sunday, anticipation is building for Friday night's headliners, SZA and the Stray Kids. With their unique styles and captivating stage presence, they are expected to deliver unforgettable performances that will resonate with fans long after the festival ends.

With thousands expected to descend upon Grant Park each day, city officials are urging attendees to prioritize public transportation. Metra is adding extra trains to accommodate the influx of concert-goers, while the CTA is extending service hours for the Red, Blue, and Yellow lines until 1 a.m. each night. Additionally, shuttle buses will be available to transport attendees between Metra stations and the festival grounds.

Lollapalooza promises a weekend filled with unforgettable music, celebrity appearances, and vibrant energy. As the city comes alive with the sounds of diverse artists and genres, festival-goers are encouraged to plan their transportation in advance and embrace the spirit of this iconic summer event.
