IHC stops action against NADRA DG

The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Friday stopped any action against National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) Director General Zulfikar Ahmed over the issue of non-confirmation of his degree.

IHC Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani heard the case. The HEC had blacklisted the account of verification of the degree of Ahmed, while NADRA ordered for including him in a pool because his degree was not verified.

The court suspended the order and also stopped any action against Ahmed. In remarks, Justice Kayani said that he might have ignored someone so that his degree was not confirmed.
